ABOUT CRYSTAL
I am a Sydney born, London based designer, currently on the last stretch of completing my MA in Costume Design for Performance at London College of Fashion, UAL. I am a freelance illustrator, with a background of textile design, fashion design, teaching (design and illustration), and a general mish-mash of design and creative work.
My design practice focuses on experimentation and material manipulation, I love to explore different mediums and push the boundaries on traditional textures and fabrics. I have a strong love for historical dress and fantasy, and am always attempting to incorporate these elements into my experimental textiles in interesting ways.
